THE STAGE IS SET! The 2021 GIO Wheelchair Rugby National Championship is shaping to be the biggest in the sports history.

Victorian Wheelchair Rugby Classic is a 2 day tournament held at Springers Leisure Centre in Keysborough. This will hold the final of the Protect Wheelchair Rugby competition and see 5 teams including a NSW team battle it out for the Victorian Classic title.

The GIO Wheelchair Rugby national Championship is back in 2019 and is sure to be fierce! Mark you calendars now - Friday, 28 - Sunday, 30 June 2019 at Quaycentre, Sydney Olympic Park!

From 5 - 7 October head out to the Penrith Valley Regional Sports Centre to witness Australia’s best go head-to-head for the 2018 GIO Wheelchair Rugby National Championship!

From 5 - 10 August 2018, the Sydney Olympic Park Complex and Netball Central will be home to the world’s top 12 teams including the Australian Steelers who are the reigning Paralympic and world champions playing to defend their world title on home soil.

Join Australia’s emerging and leading wheelchair athletes, including members of the Rio 2016 Paralympic gold medal team, as they go head to head for the inaugural Melbourne Wheelchair Rugby Invitational.

WS NSW is extending its Sydney based competition to a nation-wide invitational weekend skirmish in Canberra. The 2018 Canberra Classic, supported by the Vikings Group, gives athletes, developing through to elite, the opportunity to compete in round robin competition over three days, Friday 9 – Sunday 11 March, 2018 at the Southern Cross Stadium, Tuggeranong.

Disability Sport & Recreation is excited to announce that the 2017 Victorian Wheelchair Rugby Classic will be broadcast LIVE on October 6 and 7. Brought to you from the Frankston Basketball Stadium, the Victorian Wheelchair Rugby Classic is set to feature a selection of Australia’s leading wheelchair athletes, including members of the Rio 2016 Paralympic Gold medal team.

We'll be heading to the Gold Coast for round three of the Fierce 4 Rugby challenge, and it's just as well because it'll be too cold anywhere else! Will the warmer than normal climate be an advantage for our southern states? We'll find out!

For round two of this years Fierce 4 Rugby challenge we'll be heading back to Caroline Springs for 3 more days of head on collisions! Hope our athletes don't over do it at Easter or they might lose their competitive edge!

The first Fierce 4 Rugby Challenge of the year has been announced, and this time we're heading to our nation's capital - Canberra! Join us as our nation's finest battle it out after a nice long holiday. I hope they're ready for it!
