Wheelchair Rugby Western Australia is the home of wheelchair rugby across the state, creating opportunities for people to get involved, develop their skills and compete at every level of the game.

Western Australia has a proud history in wheelchair rugby, with athletes representing the state at national competitions and WA players contributing to the growth of the sport across Australia. WA is also home to multiple members of our national team, the Australian Steelers.

Now, with Wheelchair Rugby Australia leading the state program, the focus is on building on this strong foundation and creating more opportunities for people across WA to discover, play and compete in wheelchair rugby.

Whether you’re new to the sport, looking to get back on court or ready to take your game further, there’s a place for you in wheelchair rugby in WA.

Everyone is welcome! There are options for everyone to play wheelchair rugby, whether it’s your first time and want to play socially or you want to represent Australia.
