Wheelchair Rugby National League postponed due to COVID-19

In response to the evolving COVID-19 situation, Wheelchair Rugby Australia (WRA), in close consultation with state programs and other key stakeholders, has made the decision to postpone all 3 rounds of the 2020 Wheelchair Rugby National League which was due to commence on April 2 in Brisbane.

This action has been taken after careful consideration of current best available evidence, guidelines and recommendations about the evolving pandemic. It is aimed to protect the health and wellbeing of our athletes, officials, volunteers and staff, and to support efforts to slow the spread of COVID-19.

A decision on the Wheelchair Rugby National Championship, scheduled for May 2020 will be made in the coming weeks.
